Kruger Park Gateway Airport at Phalaborwa and Eastgate Airport at Hoedspruit and Gateway Airport at Polokwane (Pietersburg) are all located within a 120km radius of the hotel. Daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg operate to these airports. Car hire facilities are available at the airports or transfers can be arranged by the Coach House.

Coach House from N1 travelling North

Take the N1 from Johannesburg to Polokwane (Pietersburg), bypassing Pretoria. Two km after the Shell Ultra City and +/- 5km before Polokwane (Pietersburg) take the R71 to Tzaneen. After 4.6km you will reach a four-way intersection with traffic lights. Go straight across. After a further 2,5km you will reach a four-way stop. Go straight across. 6,3km further on, you will reach a set of traffic lights.

Turn right and drive towards Tzaneen on the R71. After 53km you will reach Haenertsburg. Carry on straight in the direction of Magoebaskloof on the R71. After 30km you will reach a T-junction. Turn right onto the R36/R71 in the direction of Tzaneen. Stay on this double highway for 3km, over the Tzaneen Dam (Letaba River). Pass under a fly-over bridge (do not turn left to Tzaneen ) and 1km further on, is a 3 way stop.

You will find a sign indicating Agatha and Coach House Hotel. Turn right and drive 14kms up into the hills. You will reach a T-junction. Turn left towards Letsitele Valley and proceed for 7km to the Coach House Hotel which is on the right hand side of the road.

Total distance from Johannesburg (Wanderers) is approximately 414km.

Tzaneen has an airstrip suitable for light fixed wing aircraft (25km from hotel). Helicopters may use the pad 500m from the Hotel – PS: S23°056'44 and E30°008'71.
